Terms of Use

By accessing or using UrbexMax ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

UrbexMax provides a platform for discovering abandoned and historic locations ("Locations"). The Service includes:

• A searchable database of urban exploration locations
• GPS coordinates for locations (available to subscribers)
• Photos and descriptions of locations
• Mobile applications for iOS and Android
• Premium subscription services

To access certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
• Providing accurate and complete registration information

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Subscription Plans

UrbexMax offers various subscription plans that provide access to premium features including GPS coordinates. Subscription details, pricing, and features are displayed at the time of purchase.

Billing

Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (weekly, monthly, or annually) depending on the plan selected. Payment is charged through your chosen payment method (App Store, Google Play, or Stripe).

Auto-Renewal

Your subscription will automatically renew unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel your subscription through your App Store, Google Play, or account settings.

Refunds

For subscriptions purchased through Apple App Store or Google Play, refunds are handled according to their respective policies. For web purchases through Stripe, refund requests may be submitted within 14 days of purchase for unused subscriptions.

Price Changes

We reserve the right to change subscription prices. Any price changes will be communicated in advance and will apply to the next billing cycle.

You agree not to:

• Share, redistribute, or resell location coordinates or other premium content
• Use the Service for any illegal purpose or to promote illegal activities
• Trespass on private property - always obtain proper permission
• Damage, vandalize, or remove items from any location
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Attempt to circumvent any security measures
• Scrape, crawl, or collect data from the Service without permission
• Upload malicious code or interfere with the Service
• Impersonate any person or entity

URBAN EXPLORATION CAN BE DANGEROUS. By using this Service, you acknowledge and accept that:

• Visiting abandoned locations carries inherent risks including structural instability, hazardous materials, and physical dangers
• You are solely responsible for your own safety and the safety of others
• You must always obtain proper permission before entering any property
• Trespassing is illegal in most jurisdictions
• We do not verify the current condition or accessibility of locations
• Location information may be outdated or inaccurate
• You should always explore with proper safety equipment and preferably with experienced companions

UrbexMax is not responsible for any injuries, legal consequences, or damages that may result from visiting any location listed on our platform.

All content on the Service, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of UrbexMax or its content suppliers and is protected by intellectual property laws.

Your subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes only.

By submitting content (photos, reviews, location tips) to the Service, you:

• Retain ownership of your content
• Grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content
• Warrant that your content does not infringe on any third-party rights
• Accept that we may remove content that violates these Terms

The Service may integrate with or contain links to third-party services. These services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies:

• Apple App Store - for iOS subscriptions
• Google Play Store - for Android subscriptions
• Stripe - for web payment processing
• RevenueCat - for subscription management

We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party services.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any defects will be corrected.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, URBEXMAX SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Personal injury or property damage resulting from visiting any location
• Loss of data or unauthorized access to your account
• Any errors or inaccuracies in location information
• Service interruptions or downtime
• Actions of other users

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless UrbexMax, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your:

• Use of the Service
• Violation of these Terms
• Violation of any third-party rights
• Violation of any applicable laws

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts of the Netherlands.
