Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about UrbexMax
Urban exploration (urbex) is the exploration of man-made structures, often abandoned or hidden from the general public. This includes factories, hospitals, military bases, castles, and other buildings with historical or architectural interest.
The legality varies by location and country. Many abandoned buildings are on private property, and entering without permission may be considered trespassing. We recommend researching local laws and always respecting no-entry signs and property boundaries.
Our active community of explorers contributes new locations and provides regular updates. Community members report on accessibility, confirm coordinates, and share current conditions. This keeps our database fresh with daily updates.
Immediately after purchase, coordinates are sent to your email. If you have an account, they are also available in your profile and our mobile app for offline access.
Due to the digital nature of coordinates, we generally cannot offer refunds once delivered. However, if a location is completely inaccessible or demolished, contact us for a replacement or credit.
Bundles offer significant savings if you plan to explore multiple locations in a region. Single purchases are great for trying specific locations or when you have limited time.
Yes! Our app is available for iOS and Android. It features offline maps, saved locations, and navigation integration. Bundle purchases include app access.
Coordinates are for personal use only. Sharing undermines the community and may result in account termination. Group discounts are available for exploration teams.
