Auberge 1899 / Miller's Home
About this location
Stepping through the door of Auberge 1899 is like walking straight into a slow-motion collapse, where every room tells the same story of abandonment. The old mill space still holds its massive wooden grinding machine, with debris underfoot and nature creeping back in through the open doorway. Elsewhere, the industrial kitchen retains its heavy stove and checkered backsplash beneath layers of peeling paint, while a forgotten baby carriage sits draped in a tattered red blanket, its fabric rotting in the damp air. Out in the barn, wooden carts and rusted machinery share space with broken beams and a dilapidated carriage, all surrendering to years of neglect.
