Chiesa Trino
About this location
The nave of Chiesa Trino has long surrendered to the elements, its walls stripped to bare masonry and its arched ceiling still holding a faint, haunted grandeur. The central archway is a ruin, crowned by a peeling dark blue panel that's now a canvas for white tags, while the stone altar platform looks down on a lower niche smeared with swirling yellow and blue paint. A single stone rests on the ledge above, as if left mid-ritual, and through a broken circular window the vivid green foliage outside feels like the only living thing in the place. It’s a quiet kind of decay—ornate, breathless, and completely forgotten.
