About this location

The cavernous interior of Discoteca SL is a raw, monolithic shell of concrete, its thick square pillars and crumbling ceiling exposing rebar amidst flaking paint. A short staircase climbs to a raised platform, but the surrounding floor is just dusty debris, broken up by a long tiled partition that cuts across the space. Dry foliage has crept across the foreground tiles while graffiti tags the back walls and the bar, a creeping vegetal takeover layered over human vandalism. The desaturated, stark geometry leaves the entire hall in an eerie stillness, a forgotten nightclub stripped down to its bones.
