Eglise Princière sits half-swallowed by ivy, its weathered stone facade still carrying gothic tracery and red-framed windows that have long since fallen into decay. Dark streaks stain the aged brickwork, while boarded-up openings and vegetation sprouting directly from the stonework make it clear this place has been abandoned for some time. What really sets the scene is the collision of eras: an active construction site with a dirt mound, red-and-white barrier poles, and a fresh grey concrete retaining wall pressing right up against the church's crumbling walls. It's a strange sight—an old sacred ruin caught in the middle of modern renovation, its history slowly being fenced off and buried.
