Kasteel 't Goorhof
About this location
Kasteel 't Goorhof is a crumbling red-brick ruin that nature has almost entirely reclaimed, its ivy-shrouded facades and hollow window frames barely visible behind a wall of trees and brush. Inside, the decay is total—exposed and moss-covered beams sag across rooms where ferns push up through debris-strewn floors, while layers of graffiti crawl over crumbling plaster and brick. Hazard tape strung across dark, arched openings and the lingering dampness give the whole structure a hushed, eerie weight. It’s not so much a building anymore as it is a skeleton slowly being pulled back into the forest, with every step across its unstable floors a reminder that the place has been fully surrendered to time.
