The ivy-choked brick facade and boarded windows give little away, but inside Maison MO the decay is immediate and total. Wandering through, I found peeling wallpaper and shattered tiles underfoot, while a rusted baby carriage sat strangely abandoned in a hallway beside a door of ornate glass panels. The kitchen is a wreck too, with a grimy, rusted sink and debris scattered across the counters—everything speaks to decades of neglect. What remains is a beautiful, crumbling shell, caught between its former grandeur and the quiet invasiveness of time.
