Ozgur Dengiz Nightclub
About this location
Tucked away in Pistoia, the Ozgur Dengiz presents its stone facade like a crumbling fortress, its crenellated roofline strangled by thick vines and an arched doorway half-lost beneath the undergrowth beside boarded-up windows. Inside, the coffered ceiling drops hanging green tendrils onto a littered tile floor, while the arched wooden doors with dark diamond panes sit heavy against graffiti-scarred stone. The dance hall's centerpiece is a decaying mural of a horned grey figure clutching a red ribbon above a smaller yellow creature, spread across dust-covered walls and a worn marble ledge. But the foreground is a tangle of cables, insulation, and an overturned couch, all of it looking out toward a vivid bank of orange seating and a massive yellow "Shutter" tag that still burns through the gloom.
