Pleasure Rooms
About this location
The Pleasure Rooms in Wesel have clearly been left to rot for years, with the exterior already telling the story—a brick house sinking into an overgrown yard beneath a heavy sky, its white sign tagged and faded. Inside, the decay deepens: a dark grey room littered with plaster and red plastic bags gives way to a shower space whose stained tiles are covered in black cartoon tags and spray-painted red scrawl. Beyond that, the old sauna sits quietly ruined, its slatted benches and round wooden cover still intact but dusted with dirt and debris, a broken electrical fixture hanging from the door frame. The heart of the building is a large, dim bar hall where green and pink graffiti crawl across the windows and a lone pillar stands before the counter, making the whole place feel eerily arrested mid-collapse.
