Sanatorium P is an abandoned former psychiatric clinic in Budapest, its faded white facade and red pitched roof overtaken by vegetation and ground-level graffiti. Inside, the long-abandoned rooms are heavy with decay: the vaulted hall has piles of broken tiles and rubble beneath arches layered in spray paint. Shattered windows in dark, tiled rooms let in harsh light, framing foliage and shutters while casting starburst reflections across peeling surfaces. Derelict corridors open into spaces where bare concrete floors are littered with debris, the walls a dense patchwork of tags — including a face drawing and a Hello Kitty mark — and one room brightened by a vivid blue and yellow mural. Everywhere the same story repeats: a former psychiatric ward, hollowed out and left to ruin.
