Stone Factory
About this location
The heart of this place is a ruin caught mid-breath: inside, a hazy, dusty gloom hangs over rusted conveyors, a tangled web of black hoses, and massive, corroded machine bases whose bolts are seized solid, all beneath a high trussed roof where a broken ladder dangles and a lone red tag breaks the monotony of decay. Step outside, and the scene turns eerily quiet as a vast circular settling tank, choked with a dense blanket of green duckweed, sits ringed by rusted piping and orange-tinged mud. From there, a steep, rusted staircase climbs through a wall of leaves toward a weathered stone tower, its dark upper doorway nearly lost to the encroaching forest. It’s the classic slow dissolve of industry back into the earth—gritty, heavy, and completely surrendered to the woods.
