Swamp Hotel
About this location
The Swamp Hotel is a skeletal concrete labyrinth slowly being swallowed by the Belgian forest. Its long, open-air corridors carry a perpetual dampness, with dirt floors streaked by dark stains and moss creeping across walls that serve as a sprawling canvas of graffiti — bubble letters, figures, butterflies, and tags like "PORKO" and "EXPECT." Above, the flat rooftops have gone wild, sprouting weeds around rusted rebar, a rectangular foundation pit, and a collapsed pile of red tiles, while ivy climbs the decaying exterior walkways. Inside, dimly lit rooms and a tiled wall with a dome-shaped center under a mesh roof complete the eerie, overgrown atmosphere of a place abandoned to time and water.
