Usine Verre Vert
About this location
Usine Verre Vert lives up to its name—a massive pile of jagged translucent green glass blocks dominates the pitch-black halls, throwing intense green light back from any headlamp that cuts through the dark. Decay is everywhere: collapsing drop ceilings, wood-paneled walls, broken windows, and floors buried under rubble, cardboard, and ceiling debris, while a ragged hole in one partition lets a hazy green glow bleed through from the shattered glass beyond. A dim industrial hall holds a bright white wall covered in a detailed black-and-white city-layout mural, framed by hanging ventilation ducts and surrounded by a rubble-strewn concrete floor. A brick archway opens into a desolate space where artificial light hits a rusted vertical pipe, a white tarp-covered object, and a round metal plate beside red graffiti, while the control room stays frozen around a dust-covered vintage console with analog gauges, dark screens, and a dark box with red lights.
