The woods have reclaimed this small brick barn, its peeling paint and broken windows barely visible beneath the creeping vegetation. The roof has rusted through and partially collapsed, leaving the interior exposed to the elements. A short distance away, a paved path runs through a clearing, where a weathered stone marker with inscriptions stands watch over the scene. Nearby, an old well, thick with moss and buried under fallen leaves, serves as the last silent remnant of this quiet, forgotten corner of Drenthe.
