The Burn Farm at Kraloo is a study in slow collapse, where both the farmhouse and its outbuildings have surrendered to the Drenthe landscape. Exposed brick and crumbling plaster meet skeletal wooden and metal beams, while broken windows and a partially collapsed roof let the elements pour into the rooms. Vegetation has pushed through the floors, spreading over rubble and peeling paint, blurring the line between interior and exterior. It’s a classic long-term abandonment, quiet and heavily reclaimed, with each structure offering a slightly different stage of decay.
