The Fort de la Chartreuse has fully surrendered to decay, its brickwork crumbling behind a veil of graffiti and broken windows. Inside, a graffiti-covered tunnel stretches into a long, dark corridor, where peeling paint and scattered debris mark every step deeper into the structure. A dilapidated staircase bears the same scars of neglect and vandalism, leading up to a dark, arched doorway framed by rubble-strewn floors. Outside, overgrown vegetation claws across the facade, sealing the sense that this abandoned stronghold has been left to the elements for good.
