Usine Couze
About this location
Set along the river near the old port, Usine Couze is a crumbling industrial relic defined by its two towering chimneys and ivy-smothered stone walls, with vegetation creeping through broken windows and climbing every cracked surface. Inside, collapsed wooden beams and shattered stonework lie buried beneath a tangle of moss and greenery, while the roof has caved in entirely in places, leaving the interior open to the weather. The dense undergrowth swallowing both the buildings and the surrounding grounds makes it clear this site has been left to rot for decades, untouched and reclaiming itself. A weathered sign still reading "Couze et St Front" and "Port de Couze" hangs on, a fading marker of the place beneath the ruin.
